Mighty Kanchenzonga is the third highest Mountain in the world, it is known as a Sleepy Mountain and one of the most beautiful Mountain in the world also.
It rises with an elevation of 8,586 mtrs. (28,169 feet) approximately in a section of himalayas called Kanchenzonga himal delimited in the west Tamur river, in the north by the Lhonak Chu and Jongsang La. in the east by the Teesta river. It lies between Nepal and Sikkim, India with the three of the five peaks (Main, Central and South) directly on the border and remaining two (West and Kangbachen) in Nepal’s Tablejung District.
Until 1852, Kanchenzonga was assumed to be the highest mountain in the world but calculation based on various readings and measurements made by the Great Trigonometrical Survey of India.
